From our retail outlet in Harare, we showcase a diverse range of artisanal products made by over 2000 artisans, including unique and culturally significant items like Tonga baskets from the Binga district. Each Tonga basket is a true work of art, reflecting the weaver’s personal connection to their environment, with intricate designs inspired by animals, landscapes, and local events. These baskets, which can take up to a month to weave depending on size, are much more than decorative pieces – they are powerful symbols of culture, tradition, and craftsmanship.
